We are pleased to announce the appointment of Gareth Richards as the TechWorks AI Manager. With extensive experience and a proven track record, Gareth brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our team.
In this new role, Gareth will be responsible for overseeing the TechWorks AI community programme and the successful delivery of the recently announced TAIBOM project.

We aim to lead on engineering trustworthy AI and have tasked Gareth to help build a new TechWorks community that develops and exploits the technology whilst doing all we can to ensure it is trustable.”
Prior to joining the TechWorks team, Gareth was the Chief Technical Officer at Miura Systems Ltd., a company at the forefront of the mobile payments industry.
Upon his appointment, Gareth said “I am very pleased to be joining the TechWorks team at this exciting time in the development of AI. The TAIBOM project is an important initiative to ensure trust is built into the engineering of AI systems, which is critical to widespread adoption and has global relevance to their safety, reliability and accountability.”
