Register now for one of the upcoming in-person briefing & collaboration events for the ‘Scale-up for PEMD’ funding competition which aims to enable UK businesses in the Power Electronics, Machines and Drives (PEMD) supply chain to develop manufacturing capabilities through innovation with the goal of catalysing on the green industrial revolution in the transport, energy and industrial sectors.
This competition will open for UK registered businesses in September 2022 and aims to invest a share of up to £5 million across two innovation project strands with their respective goals of:
• Scale-up for PEMD Strand 1: adopting manufacturing best-practice by bringing in new companies, thinking and solutions into the UK PEMD community to enable and improve manufacturing best-practice
• Scale-up for PEMD Strand 2: manufacturing process development by addressing key research and development opportunities to grow manufacturing capability in the UK’s PEMD supply chain
The events will be taking place throughout September in a variety of venues across the country including the Midlands, South Wales, Scotland and Newcastle.
