NMI: Meet and Greet event 24th November 2021 at the Holiday Inn, Newport.
The global semiconductor industry has drawn an increasing amount of attention in recent times as it is not only economically important, it is also a strategic sector that is vulnerable to supply issues. It should be of little surprise that national governments are reviewing their positions as a consequence – including the UK government – as we emerge, post-Brexit and post-pandemic.
And as we look to re-connect, its critically important for industry to re-establish working relationships, seek new partnerships, and catch up on developments that may have been missed while we’ve all been away. Perhaps you’re even looking for a new opening, or to find a few (perhaps young) new recruits too?
Specifically designed to help the UK’s semiconductor industry emerge together and strong, the NMI: Meet and Greet was an ideal opportunity to network and re-engage.
We tend to think of Meet and Greet as a supply chain event, yet it is much more than this as it brings together a rich and diverse set of stakeholder groups including Manufacturers, Designers, Suppliers, Universities and students too, as they consider their future career opportunities.

aesin
The great achievements of compound semiconductor material products over the past 20 years are very clear, providing some wonderful and significant advances in technology, which impact are daily lives. Paradoxically, while the end product offers great benefits the manufacturing process still remains costly and undesirable, both environmentally and sustainably.
While it is impossible to modify the compound semiconductor manufacturing process, due to the risk of product impacts and yield in a tightly controlled margin industry, there exists opportunity to reduce total production cost and improve yield through improvement to the ancillary support maintenance process.
The Aesin ReClean offers that opportunity.
Products AND Manufacturing Process Making a Better World
The Aesin ReClean is a new approach offering many advantages, including:
- Significantly lower component maintenance costs
- Much lower component inventory requirement
- Markedly improved component lifetime
- Increased production yield
- >50% reduction in power consumption
- Reduced equipment maintenance requirement
With ReClean, compound semiconductor production can be improved without any impact on the production process itself and help make compound semiconductor manufacturing a greener, cleaner, more sustainable industry.
