The Microscopy Business Unit is part of the Nikon Metrology.

The industrial microscopy team at Nikon Metrology are application and solution focused and supply a range of excellent optical microscopy systems from upright, inverted, stereo, measurement, autocollimators, profile projectors, digital cameras and very powerful software. This year Nikon Metrology Europe will launch Automated Microscopy Solutions, where complex inspection is reduced to ‘one click’ with a result driven interface. Our markets include semiconductor, electronic, pharmaceutical, medical device, automotive and many other application specific inspections where the customer would like to see, analyse, measure and report on potential defects while confirming quality standards or to delve into the far reaches of research and development in universities.

Nikon’s NEXIV video measuring systems deliver high accuracy, speed, and usability for measurement applications down to the micron level. They are suitable for a variety of applications including semiconductors, electronics, EV batteries, automotive, and many more. NEXIV can be integrated with robots and handling systems, which can facilitate automated process deployment to enhance quality and drive productivity in a smart factory setting.
