TechWorks, the UK’s industry association for deep tech connected communities, has announced it is appointing John Docherty, as a member of its Board. The appointment will take effect from 5th November 2021.
John brings a wealth of leadership, business and industry experience to the role having spent over 35 years in Semiconductor Manufacturing. He is former Senior Vice President of GLOBALFOUNDRIES, Inc. and former Senior Vice President of Manufacturing Operations at Advanced Micro Device. John has also held senior positions at Agere Systems, Chartered Semiconductor and Motorola Semiconductor.
