Head of Edge AI, Cambridge Consultants

Michal is Head of Edge AI at Cambridge Consultants, working closely with the consultancy’s AI, semiconductor, sensing and connectivity experts to realise customers product and service ambitions. He works closely with commercial and engineering experts to bridge between business ambitions and the practicalities of technology and engineering.

Michal has a long track record in strategy and technology advisory roles, including at product developers Cambridge Consultants and Telecoms, Media and Technology specialist consultancy Analysys Mason. Michal is also a Board Member of Cambridge Wireless – the leading international community for companies involved in the research, development and application of wireless and mobile, internet, semiconductor and software technologies.

He has been fortunate enough to be able to work on strategy development with ambitious startups, blue chips and brand names across six continents, and connectivity technologies have been a continuous thread throughout.

“Semiconductor and algorithmic innovation are expanding the possibilities for deploying AI in everyday devices. This challenges the recent trend towards concentrating AI workloads in the cloud and opens up new experiences, use cases and business models.
